Abstract

The article presents the results of an empirical study of the components of the existence of higher education students depending on the level of stress manifestation due to the influence of life events of various modalities. In different groups of subjects with medium (group 2), threshold (group 3) and high levels of stress (group 4), features of the manifestation of self-distancing, self-transcendence, freedom and responsibility were determined. It was found that the highest level of manifestation of average indicators was recorded on the scale “Selftranscendence” and no difference between groups was observed, the lowest level of manifestation of the scale “Self-distancing” (however, the average score of the other two is the highest in group 2). The average indicators on the scale “Freedom” (F) in groups 2, 3, 4 are above average, but the most pronounced in group 2 and the least pronounced in group 3. According to the scale “Responsibility” (V), the highest level of its manifestation is observed in group 2, and in groups 3 and 4, the indicator decreases. The results of the correlation analysis in the isolated subgroups 2, 3, 4 combined into one group indicate the presence of the following correlations: the scale “Self-distancing” (SD) has direct connections with the scales “Tolerance”, “Adoption of the world”, “Value I”, “Degree of self-control”, “Luck”, “Independence”, “Stimulation”, “Hedonism”, “Achievement”, and indirect connections with the scales “Negative past” and “Fatalistic present”; the scale “Self-transcendence” (ST) has direct connections with the scales “Self-worth”, “Luck”, “Universalism”, “Advancement of the world”; the scale “Freedom” (F) has direct connections with the scales “Self-worth”, “Degree of self-control”, “Luck”, “Independence”, “Stimulation”, “Hedonism”, “Commitment to the world”, “Control of the world”, and inverse relations with the scales “Negative past” and “Fatalistic present”, the scale “Responsibility” (V) has direct relations with the scales “I value”, “Commitment to the world”, and inverse relations with the scales “Negative past” and “Fatalistic present”.
