PSYCHOLOGICAL ASPECTS OF PERSONAL PROFESSIONAL IDENTITY FORMATION IN TIMES OF SOCIAL CRISIS

The paper examines the impact of psychological factors of social crisis on the professional identity of personality. The article deals with the importance of the phenomena that is associated with the topicality of the issues of personality professional formation and understanding that this scientific category is one of the factors of personal self-realization through professional activity. The author also signifies practical significance in the issue in the context of the need for improvement practice of staff management development and the need for profound studying psychological features of formation of structural components of professionals’ professional identity.
The author applies in complex methods of personal qualities research, career orientations, reflecting the best possible variants of career modeling, motivation as a result of experience, predisposition to certain professional environment to determine their impact on professional identity in social crisis conditions. Based on the research results high availability and a higher than average level in the indicators of the understanding of social crisis is defined. Factor analysis of the obtained results determines that workers who rely on the content of their activity better withstand the crisis of society, and the most concerned regarding the crisis of society workers are those, who have tried to realize themselves in the profession and formed great expectations on the result, which had to be reflected in certain material benefits and achievements. The more the person relies on himself, the more he is capable of forming professional motives that are connected with life purposes, and professional identity through the development of professional interests and values may be the key to counteracting the effects of the crisis society.
