PSYCHOLOGICAL FEATURES OF THE FORMATION OF HUMANISTIC VALUES IN THE CONDITIONS OF MARTIAL ARTS: AGE ASPECT

Abstract

The article examines the psychological features of the formation of humanistic values in the context of martial law, in particular, the age aspect of this process is revealed. In conditions of crisis situations, such as war, the requirements for the moral stability of the individual, the ability to maintain humanistic beliefs in extreme circumstances increase. The authors emphasize that humanistic values, in particular compassion, mutual support, humanity, love for one’s neighbor, are formed in different age periods in different ways, depending on the psychological characteristics and life experience of people. The factors that influence the change in value orientations in children, adolescents, youth and adults are studied, as well as the peculiarities of the perception of humanistic ideals in conditions of military reality. The influence of stressful situations associated with military operations on the change in value priorities, as well as adaptation mechanisms that make it possible to preserve and strengthen the humanistic orientations of the individual, are analyzed. In particular, special attention is paid to age criteria and socialization processes in wartime, which affect the formation and strengthening of such values as mutual assistance, tolerance, respect for life and the dignity of each person. It was found that in different age groups the interpretation and implementation of humanistic ideals may differ significantly, but at all stages of life the role of positive social influence and support from the environment remains important. The article emphasizes the importance of developing psychological resilience and social responsibility in martial law, especially among young people, for the formation of sustainable humanistic values in the future.
