RESEARCH OF READINESS FOR SELF-EDUCATION AS A FACTOR OF PROFESSIONAL SELF-REALIZATION OF FIRE SAFETY SPECIALISTS

The article considers readiness for self-education as a factor of professional self-realization of fire safety specialists. The article theoretically substantiates and empirically determines the interrelationship of readiness for self-education as a factor of professional self-realization of future rescuers. A number of methods aimed at researching the individual’s motivational profile, readiness for self-education, determining the type and level of professional self-realization of the individual’s motivational profile were selected and conducted. The results of the empirical research are analyzed and described. To establish the relationship between the studied parameters, we performed a correlation analysis using the mathematical statistics program SPSS v. 20. It was found that among fire safety specialists, a high level of readiness for self-education has positive connections with such indicators as successful professional self-realization, predicted successful professional self-realization, romantic professional self-realization, assertive actions, search for social support, establishment of social contact, need for a high salary paid, the need to set difficult goals and achieve them. The average level of readiness for selfeducation is positively correlated with predicted successful professional self-realization, formal performance of activities, establishment of social contact, avoidance, need for recognition by other people, need to be in demand. A low level of readiness for self-education has positive connections with such indicators as impulsive actions, manipulative actions, the need to control others, irritability.
