PSYCHOLOGICAL FEATURES OF THE ORGANIZATION OF DISTANCE EDUCATION IN OUT-OF-SCHOOL EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS

Abstract. The article is devoted to the topical issue of the study of the psychological and pedagogical conditions of development and preservation of the system of extracurricular education in the current conditions of military rule in Ukraine. Peculiarities of the organization of distance learning in an out-of-school education institution were studied, a model and methodology for its implementation was developed based on the example of the activity of the Center for Creativity of Children and Youth of Halychyna (Lviv). The relevance of the study is justified by the realities of today, which arose during the pandemic in the world and the beginning of the war with Russia in Ukraine. Here, more than ever, it is becoming more and more exciting to make the right and productive managerial decisions in solving the difficult situation of organizing distance learning in the field of extracurricular activities, where previously it was not even considered possible to implement distance learning. The continuity of the educational process of children and youth in the expansion and deepening of their knowledge, development of creative, scientific and technical, sports abilities, regardless of all the complexities of the life situation that arose in Ukraine in 2019–2023, is significant. The author notes that one of the important competencies for conducting distance learning is the possession of informational skills in presenting material, the ability to make public speeches. It is necessary to master the performance situation, possible use of improvisation, acting skills, language culture. The organization of distance learning in an out-of-school education institution requires the group leaders to develop informational competences, which consists of the ability to make public speeches. In addition, it is important to develop such competencies as: determination of purposefulness, planning, analysis, reflection, self-assessment; communicative; self-development and self-education; critical thinking; cooperation; tolerance and balanced resolution of problems and conflict situations; clearly expressing one’s thoughts and building them in the correct sequence; the ability to speak for a long time and continuously on any topic; to feel confident in any communication. All of them develop with the experience of public speaking, which must be practiced in different situations and forms. The effectiveness of the organization of the conditions for the implementation of distance learning of extracurricular education as an integral and important component of the education system of Ukraine is experimentally investigated in the article according to the specified criteria, indicators and means.
