SPECIFIC FEATURES OF THE SOCIAL COMPONENT OF PROFES-SIONAL GENESIS OF INVESTIGATORS OF PRE-TRIAL INVESTIGATION AGENCIES

The author of the article deals with specific features of the social component of professional genesis of investigative unitsʼ employees. It has been noted that the main characteristics of modern police officers are a harmonious combination of competence, responsibility of high professionalism and personal maturity. It has been emphasized that it is the profession of an investigator in the field of legal professions requires both the corresponding capacities, avocation, educa-tion, and sufficient life experience, a range of professional knowledge, skills and abilities. An important component of investigatorsʼ activity is the social component that determines the employeeʼs ability to be a subject of social relations and is based on personal and professional interaction of a person with the social environment. One of the compulsory components of the psychological structure of an investiga-torʼs legal activity is communication – professional communication. The study of specific features of the social component of content characteris-tics of professional genesis of investigative units staff at the stage of professional development was carried out with the help of the method of multifactorial research of personality «16-factor questioner of R. Kettella» and the method of diagnostics of interpersonal relations (modified and adapted by L. N. Sobchyk, variant of interper-sonal diagnostics of T. Lyrae). The author has presented the results of studying the types of interpersonal communication and specific features of the development of communicative abilities of investigators at various stages of professional development: professional adapta-tion, mastering of professional activity, creative self-expression, mentoring, social re-adaptation. The specificity of the manifestation of these characteristics at each of the stages of professional genesis has been determined. It has been stated that the authoritarian type of interpersonal communica-tion dominates at all stages of professional development of investigators; indicators of leadership qualities gradually increase from low (adaptants) to medium and high (mentors, social re-adaptation); there is a positive tendency for qualitative changes in relation to people, the desire for cooperation and independence in decision-making.
