EVOLUTION OF REGULATORY MODEL IN THE GAMBLING SECTOR: IMPACT ON ECONOMY AND SOCIETY

Abstract

The proposed study examines the adaptive model of the state regulation system of the gambling industry as a tool for the development of the national economy. The authors highlight modern strategies for regulating the gaming sector and offer an adaptive approach as an effective way to solve these problems. Analysing the positive effects of the adaptive model, the authors establish that it helps to stimulate investments, create new jobs and increase tax revenues. Special attention is given to the protection of public interests and the minimization of risks associated with the gambling business. The study is based on a comprehensive analysis of legislation, academic research and empirical data from different countries. Special attention is given to the methods of modelling economic and social interactions in the gambling sector, as well as to the analysis of practical cases of the implementation of adaptive regulation. The scientific novelty of the study is based on a unique approach to analysing the interaction of the gaming business with society and technological progress. The research explores how an adaptive model of regulation can respond to the challenges arising from rapid and unexpected changes in the socio-cultural environment and technological landscape. The main conclusions of the article emphasize the need of the development of innovative approaches in the gaming industry regulation and the transition to an adaptive model as a key factor in the effective management of this industry.
