STABILITY OF THE NATIONAL CURRENCY SOFTWARE AS A FACTOR OF STABILITY OF THE FINANCIAL SYSTEM

Abstract

Proved the high rate of national currency devaluation accompanied by a decrease in confidence in it and, consequently, decrease the coefficient of monetization and increasing dollarization of the economy. Established that Ukraine is «vysokodolaryzovanoyu» country, which is manifested in the inability of the national currency serve as universal equivalent, strengthening economic dependence of the state, depending on the value of the hryvnia currency market on the amount of foreign money; raising the level of the shadow economy. The dynamics of inflation during the 2000-2014 biennium. Established that since 2001 inflation slowed to 2008 the growth rate of consumer prices were lower than the GDP growth rate. In 2002 and 2012 in Ukraine was deflation, and in 2014 hosted the rapid development of inflation. Monetary stability analysis showed that a sharp change in the official exchange rate of the national currency took place under the influence of the financial turmoil caused by the global financial crisis of 2008–2009.
